Why should I choose Monitor Heat Pumps over other brands?

Monitor mini-split heat pumps are not just an alternative to other heating methods. Our heat pumps can cool your house or building as well! They can be a more cost effective way to heat compared to oil, kerosene, gas, or resistive electric heating and also more cost effective in cooling compared to central air systems or through-the-wall or window mounted air-conditioners.

Monitor heat pumps can also work with your current heating and cooling system to condition the basement, the attic, an add-on to the house, or anywhere your current system doesn’t cover.

Individually control each room to your comfort level – let each family member enjoy their own comfort level – don’t waste energy heating and cooling every room!

With SEER ratings as high as 26, our heat pumps exceed ENERGY STAR® standards!

What is HSPF?

HSPF (Heating Seasonal Performance Factor) is a term used in the heating and cooling industry. HSPF is specifically used to measure the efficiency of air source heat pumps.

How do mini-split heat pumps work?

Ductless, mini-split-system heat pumps (mini splits) make good retrofit add-ons to houses with “non-ducted” heating systems, such as hydronic (hot water heat), radiant panels, and space heaters (wood, kerosene, propane). They can also be a good choice for room additions where extending or installing distribution duct-work is not feasible, and very efficient new homes that require only a small space conditioning system. Monitor Mini-Split Heat Pumps are ENERGY STAR® compliant units. Make sure to hire an licensed contractor familiar with the product and its installation.
